About me

About me

(I recently became the Editor of Heady NJ, an independent news site focusing on cannabis reform in New Jersey and the business and culture springing forth from it. Check it out!)

I am a New Jersey-based Writer launching Xcelsior Communications LLC to market my expertise in communications in the cannabis industry.

I have covered domestic politics and policies at all levels of government. In addition, I cover local business developments as well. I was a reporter delivering news on local and state government, health and economic policies, and the federal response to housing, financial, and student debt issues, before focusing on the cannabis industry.

My cannabis-related content has appeared on Potnetwork.com and News.MedicalMarijuanainc.com.

I serve in a volunteer capacity as Vice President of Communications for the Latino Action Network where I have secured press for the organization in Observer.com, InsiderNJ.com, and the TV news program Jersey Matters.

I have an extensive background on political campaigns, having previously served as a Campaign Manager on an Assembly race in Ohio and advocated for economic issues, including healthcare reform.

I received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Syracuse University and a Master’s degree in Legislative Affairs from George Washington University.
